    Clyde would be FAR more bearable if they had a 3 person broadcast.

    Imagine: Home games would be Bill-Calvin-Clyde and Away games would be Bill-Calvin-Bull. Or some other combination. Clyde doesn't have to go away but he CANNOT be our sole color commentator anymore.

    In the same token, if they get rid of him completely, I won't shed any tears over it. But for those who still want Clyde around (for whatever reason) Calving coming back doesn't mean he has to go away.

    I didn't make this clear. I WANT Calvin back. I thought he was and still is the best commentator for the Rockets. Please, bring him back. I don't care if you keep or fire Clyde as long as Calvin comes back.

    Just wanted to make that clear.

    I never liked Calvin's commentating much, his voice annoyed the hell out of me. But damn Clyde and Bull puts me to sleep faster than watching Tim Duncan shoot a FT.

    I think Clyde + Calvin would be a trainwreck. Clyde would just be completely overmatched and overshadowed behind the microphone and would probably become even more unbearable to try to compensate for it.

    I could see Calvin + Bullard and Clyde in the studio for halftime/pregame, etc. Or put Bull and Clyde both in the studio and give all the color to Calvin.
