"Rudy Gay's torn Achilles will seriously change trade deadline and free agency." Well, that puts an end to that trade -deadline rumor
Maybe now Sac blows it up, and we can dump the farm on DMC, the farm being Anderson Brewer and picks.... Rudy gay wouldn't move any teams needle.
Rudy will opt in for next year as well... as he rehabs and collects.... no chance now.....lets switch out sights to WILSON CHANDLER!!
The curse of Rick Adelman strikes again. Now Rudy Gay opts in and they can't trade him. I was thinking they waited too long to deal him over a month ago.
Yes, let's make our weak depth even more weak. Who's our PG if Pat gets hurt? Who's our back up swingman if EG gets hurt?
We would have a free roster spot. If you don't think Morey could find someone who is better than Brewer and Ennis...
I wish him a speedy recovery as achilles injuries are no joke. That said, I was never very fond of his game and I don't think he would be a good fit for Houston anyway.
Sacramento wants Bledsoe, Phoenix wants picks and cap space, we want Dudley (or at least I do, 44% from 3 and a good defender and teammate). Sacramento, with Caspi and now Gay out may be the only team in the NBA that could actually need Brewer. I say we all do each other a favor. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine/?tradeId=gnnuwbg
Problem with this is with the emergence of Jokic, Denver has a legit shot at holding onto the 8th seed. They've been playing good basketball and all they really have to do is hold off Portland in my opinion. I think all the other teams bunched right there aren't as good. That is of course unless DMo suddenly starts super role playing out in NO. Just had this crazy idea that Sac might start playing better without Gay...hasn't that always been the narrative with him? Teams get better when he leaves. Let's keep an eye on that lol.
