Never felt like the guy actually enjoyed playing in the NBA. Seemed like he was always wanting to go back to Europe.

    He doesn't suck.

But he might as well have, with his body language and general lack of wanting to play the game.

Rudy was never the same after the Trevor Ariza incident.

Where he'll play behind Sergio Ramos as the backup center back.

He doesn't want to be the best or play against the best. Just like Navarro, Raul Lopez, Garbajosa, and various other Spanish teammates.

Ronaldo is going to hate him for the amount of shots he takes.

Good for him. Average NBA player though.

Probably #1 predictable NBA player to pull a "Spanoulis" and go back home. His rookie year was his best year. Diminishing returns after that

To be fair, Garbojosa had a gruesome knee injury that pretty much killed his NBA career.

He showed promise his rookie year but when he started acting like a baby he was very unappealing.

Will serve as another cautionary tale for Llull and the like. What's the term here? European bust?

I liked Rudy Fernandaz. He was so creative with the ball (almost reminds me of Ginobili) but it was clear after a while he just looked disinterested in playing.

He wasn't the second coming of anybody great, but he was probably underused as a spot up guy, and the Blazers trading away his bff sergio definitely affected him. And then having to fight for PT behind all their wing players sucks too.

Agree completely. That was a career-altering event.

    Beat me to it.

I really liked the guy, too bad it didn't work out.

He may not get the megabucks but proabably will be happier in Spain.
