18 foot red flag here, especially considering his personal war on the Rockets themselves. We can all agree that his issues are much more than GAD and OCD, and I've been very close to someone with an unhealthy inability to accept authority outside of their own. Marginalizing superiors authority through rationalization was a staple habit.

    Good luck, coaching staff.

I dont see the problem with that. He's right. He's saying that from a basketball operations standpoint, McHale doesn't have much control, Morey and Les do, so McHale is closer to a player in that regard. Basketball-wise, obviously, McHale is the head coach and has control there.

Did we not know this before? We do remember this guy, right?

Royce isn't belittling the coaches authority. He's stating the facts.

Mchale is literally Royce's coworker. He's looking at things objectively as they are. I don't see how that makes him have a bad personality

Way to talk about the only man who thought highly enough to waste a pick on you.

Way to keep up with Rockets news. That report was later said to be false. :p

Even if it wasn't, there's still nothing wrong with what he said. He explained he was talking about basketball operations, not coaching. If McHale had control over operations, then what would be the point of employing Morey?

Do you think a high school teacher has any more control over school operations than a student? Their opinion may be taken into consideration, but they don't decide anything and neither do students.

Really? He's still not getting court time this year. Most likely he's already feeling the money pinch with the suspension on him. I say, he doesn't play for the Rockets much. Ever.

You think Les Alexander likes this drama? I look to see Morey trading him after he ups his trade value by playing in the DLeague. No way we will let him derail our building project

McHale not running the team. Good! Morey > McHale anytime of the year

Royce really is challenging status quo and telling it like it is.

His twitter manifestation was awkward but he's generally right about describing the organizational structure. I like it

So Royce gets to decide when he will return? I don't see what's so different about February 11th that he couldn't join them from the beginning...

Hoping this is the end of this saga.

However, not counting any chickens until he's on the floor and actually playing.

Why do you guys keep talking about Royce. Until he gets his act together, we should all stop giving him attention. Right now we're just feeding into his attention seeking anxiety whatever disease.

The big red flag on him now is that he thinks he's the only one who's right and everybody else is wrong.

When he's the top guy in Iowa, that's less of a problem. But when he's #15 on the roster, no way he can have a bigger ego than our #1 guy, James Harden, and our other starters.

Because they were trying to implement a protocol....he wasn't very detailed about it, but it sounds like they have no put in enough procedures in place to accommodate him. Those weren't their before. Perhaps he could have still tried harder to show up, but that's basically the difference between now and back then.
