    I don't know if someone posted this, but it deserves it's own thread. I saw the Grantland interview and the draftexpress interview and I loved how honestly he expresses himself so I looked up some other interviews and found this.

    This video is such a genuine interview which seems to be so rare in sports where you can just predict what a player is going to say before he says it.
    Bruce Lee has a great quote, "...to experience oneself honestly, not lying to oneself, and to express myself honestly, now that is very hard to do." and Royce seems to have got it at such a young age. If the Rockets want to sell more tickets, they should post this on their homepage and on their giant expensive screen. Enjoy.

    No she's terrible.

    Half of her responses are "GOOD! GOOD!"


    It reeks of reading questions off a card. (probably prepared by someone else)

    Her "good" responses are pretty much just her replaying back what the Royce just said. (not that that's a bad thing, but you'd like a little more substance)



    Royce was good as always, though.

    That's a pretty tough assessment. So what if she says good after someone finishes their question. Almost everyone has some phrase they repeat frequently. Plus, it's not like she was polished and on tv. She sounded to me like a talented amateur. She was prepared, but not well practiced. Overall, I give her a B- with plenty of potential. She has a great voice, she was paying attention to what was said during the interview and she used a good dosage of compliments to give Royce credibility.

    I'm not sure what ya'll were expecting from a phone interview that didn't have any of that live energy that radio/tv emit.

    DarkHorse, I find you to be a jive turkey.

    I love this kid. Royce is an amazing person to add to our Rockets family. Let's hope his game ends up matching that.

    The kids got a great heart.

    He's real and that's hard to find nowadays. I'm looking forward to watching this guy grow in front of my eyes.

    Agreed ... but whether or not he pans out, this is exactly the kind of player the Rockets should be taking a chance on -- high ceiling/potential, seems to "get it" and other teams are passing on him. The reward could be the kind of difference-maker everyone agrees this team needs to
