And Moises Alou was not really playing basketball.

And Lance Berkman was not really playing flag football.

I'm dead serious about us getting the Top Ten together and one of yall with a legitimate Twitter account sends this to Blum.

OP joins Thursday and starts a "I've grown to HATE the new President of Baseball Operations of the World Champion Astros" thread.

I'm sure KC doesn't want really want to help the Astros run it back.

Funny how Giles isn't on that list. AJ is doing his best to help him get some success.

Giles was in the disaster game. He may have been in some others, but didn’t allow anything if he was. That being said, Giles is 11-11 in save opportunities and has a 0.00 ERA in those games.

You should be pleased that the closer is not on the list of 1 run loss games.

    I am pleased.

I think it's mental for him, besides the fact he likes to punch himself in the face he's not as mentally tough as I'd like. He needs to learn to pitch not just throw.

one incident of him punching himself in the face caught on camera and everyone has decided that he's mentally unstable and it's something he does on a regular basis

Oh no, I decided he was a bit of a head case long before that.

In fact, I've never seen that play, I don't think.

I think it's pretty obvious he has trouble controlling his emotions. I said as much last year. Him punching himself in the face certainly qualifies.

Yeah, Giles isnt the guy for this team. Don't see him ending the season with an ERA under 5.

Herrera is crushing it in Washington. This is the difference between 1 WS and 3+ WS and is inexcusable when you consider the farm system.

Yep Kelvin Herrera would have assured us 4 or 5 WS.

But without him, we're done, just done. No hope anymore. We saw what having an unreliable closer does to a team in the playoffs, you can't win. Teams with elite closers like Kimbrel, Chapman, or Kenley Jansen can't be beat.

And now that we didn't get Herrera and the trade deadline is passed, we're f**ked, can't even address it.
