Could this mean Foreman is close to coming back?

Because you can't have enough De's on your team's offense

    Deandre Hopkins
    Deshaun Watson
    Demariyus Thomas
    DeAndre Carter

Ervin spent more time playing slot WR. I think this says more about Coutee's health than Foreman's.

So we cut Ervin and pick up who? DeAndre Carter? 2 catches and 21 yards in seven games with one start? Hmmmm. Any good?

Meanwhile Dez Bryant, signs with the Saints. Somehow I feel this is gonna play out like the Peterson deal. A guy who nobody wanted to sign and we could have, ends up doing great after we missed the opportunity. Saints want to win a SuperBowl!

They traded for DT. Why would they sign Dez Bryant?

Ervin had 3 catches 35 yards. Not much of a difference. Plus, he’s a return guy as well. Not a big move at all.

Dez bryant isn't a slot receiver......

Ervin never amounted to much so Im fine with bailing on him.

Demaryus Thomas at this point is much better than Dez. Carter is a better returner than Ervin.

I remember reading good things about Lampkin during the 2017 draft process. I can't remember where though.

I wasn't comparing Bryant to DT. Just meant we should have signed him too. They are barely paying over the league min for him. Smart move on their part.

yes bc Dez is definitely known for his calm demeaner and if history tells us anything its that Dez would totally be cool with not playing a lot

Erwin always seemed like a reach but he seemingly had big play potential, especially as a receiving RB. Just never came to fruition here.

LOL. True, but hey, another target for Watson, at a bargain price. Dez, DT, and Hopkins would have been cool.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting him for a bargain. He has to be better than our other guys, not counting Hopkins and DT. But, mute point anyway, since it can't happen now. I don't like his immaturity anyway, or his bad vibes, but just figured he would have been another big target who might not break as easy as some of our backups.
