Not sure if this belongs in this thread (calling out the serious police), but the newest pro bball league, the "ABA 2000", just completed its draft. With a lot of familiar names. Personally, it looks like nothing but a publicity stunt, seeing as the chances of most of these players playing there looks grim at best. Thanks for the 411 Chief, I was just a little nervous of being caught as a first-time serious police offender! I thought this might be more appropriate for the Hangout forum, seeing as its technically not involving the NBA directly, but I guess its all good. someone please explain how this aba draft works... i mean, one team drafts tim hardaway, but whats the point? arent these guys under contract in the nba? how would they go play for the aba and why? ------------------ you are to be praised by gods and revered as women.
Just in case hell freezes over, and Timmy decides to play in this new league, the team that drafted him would have his right. Of course none of the NBA players have to do anything this new league wants em to do; but if they want to play there for some weird reason, they have to go where they were originally drafter.
