Worst uniforms in the history of professional sports.

    No hyperbole.

i think we really should petition someone to have them wear the championship unis again as throwbacks. Is it a league or owner issue?

[rquoter] Either way, the flying, grinning – let’s call it – rocket will be back.[/rquoter]

Is straight-mannered Jonathan Feigen making a dildo reference?

OK this is what happens when you hire none Rockets fans to do Rockets marketing. True fans know that ketchup and mustard is where it's at. Not this BS stripe junk. Those throw backs are only effective if they spark positive memories, such as success and winning. Those do not however. They are reminiscent of the worst times this franchise has ever faced. It's associative regression at its worst in the form of marketing and I'm not going to be happy watching our boys play in those unis. Moral will be at an all-time low.

The grinning logo reminds one of the Death to Smoochie scene when he pulled a penis-shaped cookie out and passed it off as a rocket...

Is there any way Clutchfans can get the Rockets to understand that we want to see our team in the championship-era jerseys, not the pajama costumes?

I know for a fact they check this. So do the journalists.

Hey Chron writers, I like your work but don't say you don't like the ketchup and mustard to the home town fans. It just makes you look like you don't "get it." It's all about style, or lack of, and the fact that they wore those ugly colors and do well was why it was awesome; Looking cool is never the goal. Looking like champions and having some tradition has always been the reason for the red and yellow and that in essence is why you look cool wearing them.

Only Francis and Eddie Griffin (RIP) made the uniforms look okay

Not even slick stylish Cat Mobely could bring that uni into respectability

They're not so bad. It has an actual Rocket on the logo. Kind of cool.

Well they've tried the ketchup n mustard uniforms Rockets used during the championship seasons ... Maybe they think switching to the uniforms used after the championships will bring em luck.

Too lazy to research, but I remember that the pajama era was when we had the best Free Throw defense. My theory was, the uni was so ugly it distracted the opponent's concentration at the FT line.
