When I called him a scrub who has nothing left to contribute to the Rockets on the court as a player, idiot posters went berserk talking about Chuckwagon of the Martin, Lowry, Scola era. I swear lots of posters here don't watch much basketball outside the Rockets and whoever Morey signs is automatically a lock to be a significant contributor.
This sucks. I thought he played really well. He's the perfect backup center on back to back non-dwight days.
I thought you were disrespecting him by implying Chris Paul would have made him more effective. I guess you meant that Chris Paul would have meant the Clips beat us. I'm saying it is not that simple. Clips can't beat us. Paul's effectiveness to make role players better takes away from Blake's game, it is not necessarily additive....anymore than adding LMA to the Spurs motion offense. sorry,,,not trying to argue with you. Just on a high about the Clips still can't beat us even at home when Blake is unstoppable. Make him beat us and release.
Blake doesn’t need Chris Paul to get his points. The Rockets don’t need a Josh Smith to slow Blake down. He’s one of those players who won’t get slowed down, and you can just hope he has a bad game. Chris Paul is ball dominant, and Blake imo can score more per game without having to wait for Paul to pass him the ball.
Its not those reasons for people's reaction Its because you only speak nonsense such as blaming Keith Jones for Hayes getting hurt, and foolishly expect to get taken seriously. If you value respect back for your comments (which I dont think you actually do) then act like a credible poster.
They had a little cushion between the hard cap and a vet min contract. Each game Hayes was on the roster cost the team $11,500 towards the hard cap. This move just retains flexibility going forward leaving them the option to sign a veteran free agent should someone shake loose that can help them. It's likely Jones will return to the lineup .... Hayes is just a luxury with Jones able to play. I doubt they sign anyone at this time - I expect them to leave that roster spot and ~$947k in cap space open for .... whatever shakes loose down the line.
