I too have been thinking will Oubre be the first domino to fall? My gut feeling is that Otto Porter might be next since he has been disappointing so far this season. His contract is just terrible though. I like Markieff to some extent, but he is a UFA. His contract is just great at 8M. Let's hope for the best, but we have to be realistic too.

Don't post bs information. He was a bird fa they could have resigned for whatever they wanted. They would just have to pay luxury tax. In all honesty ariza isn't even that good, but he plays some d and hits 3s at a good clip.

Why not just give up Clark?
    Wiz in- Ariza Chriss
    Wiz out - oubre Rivers

    Houston in- Oubre
    Houston out- Clark Chris's

Suns in- Rivers Clark Hou 2nd
    Suns out- Ariza

This was my understanding from BimaThug's post on Clutchfans.net. I'm glad to be corrected. He definitely was the glue that held the team. I don't know if he wanted to stay after the end of the season. I'm surprised that he is considering going to the Wizards.

It's more like the Suns wanted to trade him to the Wizards. I'm positive that isn't Ariza's first choice. The NBA is a business and players under contract typically don't get much of a voice in the matter unless they are one of the few with a no trade clause.

You want Ariza back on the Rocket’s squad for chemistry alone

He can also ask to be bought out. But he wants his cake and eat it too? Thank god Sarver put his foot down.

Get ariza back, he is proven to be crucial for our system. It is hard to find alternative in the market that can replace him.

I would want Ariza simply just to prove losing him wasn’t the reason we have started off this bad

I'd gladly trade Melo, ih, and Edwards for oubre and richuan. Talk about gravy....

Me too. Would love that trade. Oubre and Holmes would be great on the Rockets. I don't see the Suns having interest in the Rockets parts though

They were going to get Dillon Brooks and Wayne selden. I'd think Edwards would be better value to them than oubre since oubre expiring.

Why did the Suns sign Ariza in the first place knowing he isn't in their future plans? Sign him to become a trade chip? Was that their strategy?

New Suns management and that owner were never gonna do a deal involving the Rox after this summer. Just like the T-Pups, opposing teams are sick and tired of "losing" to Morey and nobody wants to deal with him. Morey's been so good that other teams are scared.
