Terry's energy and interview skills makes him great to listen to and he's already talking like a coach hope he gets playing time though and not another Deke.
I am in a bad mood right now or I would have "swept this under the rug." Deke played a lot. What the F%$& are you talking about bro!!!!!??
Thanks clutch. Man I'm quietly confident about terry, just like I was when we got Garcia in the trob deal a couple of years ago
Man Terry always knows how to say the right things and get me excited for the season:grin: I hope he can turn back the clock on the court for H-Town haha, Like many have said before it's as if he's already a coach he'll have a great influence on our young guys and locker room environment
Deke was always a 10-15 minute a night guy. Right in line with what Terry, and most backups will play this year.
Mutombo's average minutes per game with the Rockets: 04-05 15.2 min in 80 games played, 2 games started 05-06 14.9 min in 64 games played, 23 games started 06-07 17.2 min in 75 games played, 33 games started 07-08 15.9 min in 39 games played, 25 games started 08-09 10.7 min in 9 games played, 2 games started
Nope, I'm not. You really do not get that McHale relying on veterans like a Terry or Deke if he were 37 is nothing like JVG who had a hard on for defense and loved Deke? When Adelman took over, say bye-bye to Deke getting minutes. He played barely until Yao went down in 07-08 and 08-09 was only brought back for locker room reasons. Terry's acquisition reeks of veterance presence and given McHale's coaching, he will not get much opportunity to prove himself and get consistent minutes. Think about it..
There's something about the attitude that I like so far this camp. It's like a get-to-work attitude, and it seems like it's shared across the board. Kind of cool.
We lost a tough series in the first round and a lot of talent in the offseason. Our margin of error is zero in this conference. I'm glad they have a more serious attitude now because they're going to need it.
