    Which Rockets might be moved?

    Not all players have value, and not all players are available. Let’s categorize the 4 types of rosters and then look at the players who could realistically bring a contributor for making the playoffs and playoffs run.

    Positive Trade Value (little trade value)
    Gary Clark SF 6-8
    James Ennis GF 6-7

    No Trade Value
    Carmelo Anthony F 6-8
    Michael Carter-Williams PG 6-6

    Negative Trade Value
    Brandon Knight G 6-3
    Marquese Chriss PF 6-10

    Fillers and Throw-Ins
    Danuel House F 6-7
    Vince Edwards SF 6-8
    Isaiah Hartenstein PF 7-0

    Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker as Positive Trade Value

    Zhou Qi as Filler

    1 Year/Expiring Trade Value:
    Carmelo
    Chriss
    MCW
    Zhou (Rockets have the option to pick up next year etc)

    and not sure who else got a 1 year contract. You could package them up for a guy with a longer term contract.
    There's value in other teams wanting to get out of luxury tax

    Chriss is expiring, bad player but his contract might be a valuable asset.

    Chriss, Anthony, and MCW have some trade value due to being expirings. They can be combined in a trade for someone on a multi-year contract, and then be waived. I imagine that's one of the reasons they haven't been cut yet. Guys like Nene and Knight have negative trade value though.

    do we still have the draft right for Sergio Llull? CFers always like to add that into their poopoo platter of crap (pun intended) that they think they can trade for a superstar.... lol
