It means they feel comfortable with Canaan.

Yes, from what I've read, I wouldn't expect AB to approve this trade. Unless they know something I don't, Brooks has said he wanted to be in Houston. I wouldn't see why he would want to go through with this.

Good luck to AB. He's a great 3rd string pg here, don't see why we want this trade. I hope there's follow up trades...no reason for us to make this as a single trade

Aaron Brooks barely played on a bad Sacramento team, whats the difference?

Good move. You take some excess in one position to bolster a weakness in another. Players play a lot better on the Rockets.

Sacramento doesn't make good decisions. I live in colorado, I watch Hamilton all the time, this trade is dumb

I'm pretty sure AB prefers to play - even if he likes Houston, the guy isn't getting any playing time here. So I can see him agreeing as long has he gets minutes. No one wants to be on a team just to watch (well...Bynum and probably some other guys out there wouldn't mind...)

I checked his stats. Dude shoots 39% overall and 34.9% from downtown. He averages 6.8 PPG in 17.2 minutes. 6'7" and only 23 years old.

Could be a sleeper pickup if he pans out. And we definitely need more help at the backup 3 than at point guard(barring injuries of course).

    Solid trade.

Hamilton will be a depth and insurance guy. Brings a lot of versatility to the table.

He'll struggle to find consistent playing time unless his outside shot is falling and his defense is respectable, but I like this move on our part.

Wouldn't be surprised to see morey go grab Jimmer now. Without Brooks and for only a second rounder, worth the gamble

Do some of you honestly think we got to this point where Woj tweeted it, and AB still hasn't given approval? C'mon.

Actually really like the pickup.....Brooks wasnt going to get PT and Hamilton is a good shooter/scorer at the wing.
