Rockets to speak with CJ miles tonight

    We had two guards because we ran a 3 guard set a lot and basically kicked dekker out of the rotation except for spit minutes. We now intend to give serious minutes to tucker as the backup 3 and 4.

    There are minutes to be had on a sporadic basis. Maybe you play 10 minutes tonight and the DNP-CD for a few nights.

    A guy like cj miles isn't taking the minimum for that role.

    He is behind DeRozan, Lowry, and Powell with the Raptors. I don't think he is guaranteed that much more playing time there. But like I said, it is not just about Miles. They don't have a full roster yet and it is probably due to the Carmelo situation.

    You assume he couldn't be had for less in the right situation.

    Miles can also play SF, and D Carroll is now gone. There are plenty of minutes for CJ. He will be their 6th man if not the starting SF.
