Rockets are effectively around 7th in the NBA and shooting 37% from three point line. Whats amazing is they dont have anyone shooting higher then 38.5% shooter.. This means they have 8 shooters that are between 36% and 38.5%, obviously Gordon is shooting 34% but lets be honest this is an out lire season for him and he is close to 40% for his career.. the rockets shooting this year is phenomenal.. Warriors are 39% shooting but they have three high volume shooters all above 42.5%... From a ranking stand point Ariza who is currently the best percentage shooter is tied for 47th in the league, I think its fair to just about every team has a better three point shooter from a percentage stand point then the rockets, and yet we are known as the greatest three point threat and the best three point shooting team.. We have an amazing system... I am really proud of the coaching staff and the analytics team.

We are the best spacing team in the NBA and Rudy T has said, the NBA is about space. If the NBA wanted to increase score immediately, all they would have to do is make the court wider.

Shooting 50 3s a game has to be somewhat demoralizing .. defenders running around crazy on the perimeter, only to get caught out of position for easy layups. Has to be tiresome also for the defense. Imagine if the team had legit, professional 3 ball shooters like Redick, Korver or Ingles .. unfair.

Exactly.. I would love to have Joe Ingles or Danny Green on this team, legit 3-D guy, obviously Joe Ingles does alot more with his play making... But our GM does a grade job of getting guys who are above average shooters and above average defenders

I notice the last two games that Denver and Utah came out the gates being more three pointer trigger happy than we were and they just couldn't make the shot. Teams coming out trying to play like us but can't do it and put themselves in a deficit early.

The Rockets players individual 3 pt percentage is always going to be lower because the volume of 3s they shoot. Harden and EG are shooting 10+ 3s a game, no other player does that except Curry occasionally.
