    this has really surprised me honestly. his defense is solid especially considering the rep he previously had. Communicates and hustles

    He lost his role when harden went out with an injury. How is brown suppose to be harden cheerleader if harden doesn't play

    Playing for Brad Stevens probably helped him a lot in those areas.

    Green started games in the playoffs for the Celtics last year, wasn’t like he was the Celtics version of Troy WIlliams.

    his on ball defense is solid. he lost his man a couple times but nothing to say hes a bad defender.

    I admit, I've been pretty disenchanted with Tucker over the past two weeks. :(

    He seems to make a lot of head-scratcher plays on offense and defense, for a veteran.

    I will feel better when Moute is back and they can split minutes. Moute is more of a consistent, stable presence. Tucker is good for an energy shot and to match up with hustle teams.

    Sounds like Rockets want to keep flexibility going forward, by waiving nonguaranteed brown they are basically giving Green the money Brown would have been paid, (and also going further under the cap since Brown got paid more).

    Glad the Rockets are keeping Green. His shooting will come down to earth of course but it is nice to have another "rotation worthy" player on the bench to give the team options. Also nice that it is a player who can create their own shot.

    Green might be able to keep the "garbage unit" afloat in games where the Rockets pull their starters and thus allow MDA more faith to go to the garbage unit earlier in the game for rest purposes.
