    That is for free agents, which DMo is not. They can trade him in one month.

    Signing him before a deal makes since if you need it to make the salaries work.

    I don't think the team will move DMo since he has the most potential of any player we have, but I don't see the signing as evidence of anything.

    agreed. my point was that since the rockets have no center, and he can play center, we might want to pencil him in there for at least this season. being that he has a lot of qualities that could make him successful at that position, i think he might just hold onto it.

    I would really like to see a Parsons, Lamb, White, Montiejunas, Jones starting five play together for a few years for all we've invested to get here. It's not conventional but it cold be good.

    Parsons - slasher, takes the other teams best scorer
    Lamb- the shooter
    White - the world's biggest point guard
    Moe-tee - the low post scorer
    Jones - takes the other teams low post scorer and rebounds

    That still leaves Scola, Martin and Patterson as 'assets'
    (though I think Patterson would fit that rotation)
