I'm stoked about this. Always been a fan of this guy. I know it's already been said but he has the potential to fill a pat bev type role. Not sure if he's ready but nice prospect for sure.

For what it's worth, Briante Weber is probably a better shooter than he's been given credit for. In the D-League he shot 46% from the field and 37% from 3pt land. His eFG is actually respectable at 50%. This is over 59 games at 1946 minutes so the data is probably a little more telling than his NBA stats. He's played 27 games in the NBA but the sampling is only over 374 minutes.

I know the argument is that the NBA has better defenders and I wouldn't disagree. It does have better defenders. But his opportunities have been minimal. He looks like a hound on defense though. Man he's quick. He strikes that ball like a snake.

    His NBDL stats:

0-1 in the Briante Weber era. He needs to turn this thing around fast.

Having an NBA team and complaining about your profit margin being small in a given year is like complaining that your hot tech stock only paid a 1 percent dividend last year while ignoring that it has gone up over 20% each year for the last 20 years.

Would rather play Briante over Canaan. Canaan is a shorter Bobby Brown.

Did Kerr just say that GSW was looking for a Beverley-type PG last year ("Fit in well with what we're looking for"); ie, not a Rubio-type.

I think it's due to so much uncertainty surrounding big ticket players in CP3 and Capela. We are keeping our powder dry temporarily until the trade deadline and if not then, the off season.
