Btw I still believe rockets are in this series. My point is about Cp3 and his albatross contract. He will never be worth 60% of that contract going forward. LA was looking for a GM at the time of this post. I suggested what Boston did with Doc Rivers.

Can we trade small brains for a bag of chips? Not sure their value is enough to get that back, but if it is, i'd do it in a second :D

How about CP3 for Kuzma and picks to the Rockets? I’ll take a 6’10” guy that can shoot 3’s and rebound over CP3 any day of the week.

lol Lakers wouldn't do Kuzma for CP straight up and you have them giving up picks?

No one is going to take CP3 contract without significant assets.

Now that the paint is dry. Do you all still think my suggestion was crazy? If the Lakers proposed taking CP3 while the rockets let Morey out of his contract to work in LA would you all do it?

No, the post is still just as illogical as it was a couple of months ago. Money Morey has been great fo us. Why get rid of the only thing working for us???

Yall talk about not getting rid of the coach because there is no one to replace him. Who can do better than Morey? Only reason Morey hasnt been able to do anything is because teams around the league are terrified to do deals with him.

I agree Harden prime shouldnt be wasyed but CP3 shouldnt be wasted. He not as bad as everyone is making it seem. It just looks that way because he hardly gets to run the show. I know Harden is efficient iso but I believe with cp3 running the show and not harden it will open the game up for Harden and others...but you have to have a coach who going to hold his superstar accountable for the betterment of the team.

Thats where CP3 comes in. Because Pringles is a wuss. Cp3 has to check Harden. Thats what we seen in gm6. No big deal if you ask me. Just teammates working out the kinks.

You haven't figured out yet that you don't "trade" GMs. Even if we fired him, he would be free to go wherever he wants. But a more logical question would be - who would you replace him with that is available or at the end of their current contract, that can do as good a job?

    Waiting for an answer.

How did Clippers get Doc Rivers? Weren't Boston compensated to let him out of his contract. He became president and coach. Please tell me how this isn't the same scenario if LA want Morey

Rivers was a coach only when he was acquired by the Clippers, not GM or even president of operations at the time. Still doesn't answer my question - who would you replace Morey with that is or will be available that can do an equal or better job?

Key word "if". This a completely different scenario. Actually there is no scenario.

If LA wanted Morey he wouldnt have resigned with us.

I would hope he wouldnt leave until we accomplish our goal of a championship.
Seems like he's the type to finish what he started.
