Jeff Green! He's 6'9", long and on a 1yr contract for $3M. He is currently averaging 11 points a game, shooting 39% from 3 and 87% FT. Listening to The Player's Only Episode of the Rockets vs Utah game from last night, the Rockets need a 3/4 who is long and can hit the 3! KCP is 6'5", so is Bazemore! Besides, we already have James Ennis and Tucker, we need more length! Also, I think we need to hang on to Brandon Knight as insurance. CP3 is not bringing it , like he did last year. Finally, just heard B. Ingram is on the Trade Block too! I'd give up a 1st and a 2nd for him. What do you think??
Probably would cost the Rockets more than an arm and a leg. The Lakers want a star to pair up with Lebron.
Justin Holiday 7th in made 3's per game at 2.9 on 38% 10th in steals per game at 1.8 6'6 with 7'0 wingspan. 29 on a 4.6 mill expiring contract, on the Bulls who don't care about winning so he's for sale. I think he's the perfect depth piece for us.
Green is a vet. He can help us out on both ends of the floor. I wouldn't give up the 2019 1st rounder for him though. I don't know what the Wizards are planning. My guess is that they will try to see where the team is going with Ariza's addition. If they start stumbling, Green could be on the trade block. Knight can only be insurance for CP3, if he makes serious gains. That seems quite a ways off.
