Should Houston Be Ahead Of San Antonio? April 12, 2008 - 6:48 pm Andrew Perna/RealGM - Traditional NBA sites like NBA.com and ESPN.com list the San Antonio Spurs as the team with the Western Conference's third best record, ahead of the Houston Rockets . Both teams are 54-25 with three games left to play, but breaking down the tiebreakers the Rockets should have the edge on the Spurs. The first tiebreaker, head-to-head record, is a wash with both recording a pair of wins against one another, but Houston earns the edge with a better conference record. The Rockets are 32-17 against the West, while the Spurs are 31-18 when facing their Conference counterparts. https://secure.nba.com/statistics/playoff_picture.html Check below: (2) Better winning percentage against teams in own division (only if tied teams are in same division). Too bad we are in same division. Standings got it right
personally i have this deep in my ass i dont care about this, all i care about is rockets. mod, lock it please
division record comes before conference record when comparing tied teams within same division? spurs have the advantage there
Never trust RealGM, and this is the reason why. It's full of 15 year olds who think they know a lot and act as if they were around when the NBA was the NBL.
By the way, tonight we could possibly go ahead of the spurs. We need the lakers to beat them and we have to take care of the nuggets. It won't be easy, considering they are playing stay alive. Spurs and Lakers will be a good matchup, and we'll know how we stand once our game starts.
the one good thing about that site is that you just enter it and you have every news from nba, don't have to search
naah in poland there is a cheapy hats company called "Elo Melo" and when i was younger i had one of those ;d its making little offtopic, somebody lock this
