Just wait!! Royce White will come back to the NBA and tear up the league and we can blame Morey for letting him go. Writing on the wall...
A .383 FG percentage does not make it a hell of a season. He played one good game against a bad Rockets team and you think he's some allstar? Morey did not mess this one up. We need shot makers.
I have to agree. Michael Carter-Williams had 22 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds, and 9 steals in his NBA debut against LeBron's Miami Heat. Terrence Ross (Raptors) had a 51 point game against the Clippers. etc.
Step 1: www.youtube.com Step 2: Type in search bar: Robert Covington highlights Step 3: Say "oh" and realize that it WASN'T just one game, and that the kid is actually good.
I use college player highlights on youtube for my pre-draft player evaluations, and find I like them all. I don't know how GMs decide upon which player to pick.
Depends on what kind of music the highlights are set to, picture quality, and general cleanliness of the editing.
But for real though, when DraftExpress was playing the music from Ill Mind 5 it made the players 3x better.
I never said he was or wasn't good. But 1) I'm not going to watch Sixers games, and 2) I don't see how that would generate a profit.
No - poorly worded. Meant to say that the lack of playing time given to many of the young guys doesn't give them the opportunity to flourish. And when they finally get their 1-2mins every 3rd game, everyone (including us on this forum) criticize them for missing 3's or another stupid error. Take KJ as an example. Moved to the D League for I think a couple games. Brought back and the other night was given less than a minute after spending the previous 2 games with a DNP. True many players traded were rubbish. But others have flourished into really good players (that we ourselves need now). End of the day we've got to trust the coaching staff regardless of our opinion. But right now we're still giving minutes to guys who should be benched instead of giving a shot to guys who SHOULD be hungry for their opportunity.
He spent the first few weeks of the season injured and laid a few eggs upon returning, when he was obviously still hampered. He has been absolutely and consistently on fire since. Just looking up his shooting percentage without context does not do him justice. ETA: Characterizing him as someone who had "one good game against the Rockets" also ignores the extremely solid season he had last year. Not saying he's an All-Star, but this is not a guy who had one fluke revenge game.
