I rather keep Dorsey and Cut Garcia:

Going out Powell, Mitchell, Convington, trade Canaan, Garcia

The Rockets will trade him for a bag of chips.

Other teams showing "interest" doesn't mean they are willing to give you anything for him, they probably just want to get rid of their our scrubs also.

difficult for a player like covington to find a spot, as he doesn't have a natural position in the nba.

Covington just didn't hit his 3 point shots with any consistency at the NBA level, and that was his role. Lit it up in the D-league, and I could see him back with the Vipers if no other NBA team picks him up.

I was really high on Covington. How could you not be? 6'9 frame with a sweet stroke and the potential to be a good defender. He looked so promising at the end of last offseason.

Too bad he could never put it together on the NBA stage. His mentality just wasn't there.

I hope the Rockets can get a pick for him. Undraftees for a pick is a Morey move at its finest.

I wish him all the luck though.

Hes a great player, but he just never shown up in the NBA. Killed it in the D-League though.

Not surprising at all after his horrible performance in the Summer League.

at worst, send him to Philly

Covington has a sweet stroke, but can't defend and create for others at the NBA level. You could see it in his facial expression last night he knew the writing was on the wall.

Will we still have one last game of the Vipers trio?

Perhaps the Vipers program (since Nick Johnson will be sent down) should include not only making threes but learning how to handle the ball. Canaan, Cov, and Daniels never learned it last year. Paging coach Nevada ...
