Depth around the perimeter is pretty impressive. We seem pretty well-rounded. I actually think Chuck Hayes would be a really good addition.

Seriously doubt C Wood makes the team

    Lawson/Bev/Terry
    Harden/Thornton/KJ
    Ariza/Brewer/Dekker
    DMo/Jones/Harrell
    Howard/Capela

Who too use the MLE on? Chuck Hayes?

    PG: Lawson, Beverley
    SG:Harden, Thornton, KJ
    SF:Ariza, Brewer, Dekker
    PF:Motiejunas, Jones, Harrell
    C:Dwight, Capela

    That's 13 players.

(also have Christian Wood and probably Williams on non-guaranteed deals likely for RGV rights).

So technically 15 assuming Williams gets signed by Houston before another team snatches up his rights.

Morey likes to go into training camp with 20 players, but the Rockets coming up close to the hard cap could make that challenging.

If I had to predict, I'd say that the Rockets add back Jason Terry, and Chuck Hayes to round out the final 15.

Wood and Williams get waived but end up in RGV. Not sure if Morey can add in more training camp bodies especially at the guard spot to get RGV more talent locked up. Again... coming up to the hard cap will be interesting to see if that limits what Morey can do with they remaining SIX potential signings.... yes SIX players could be signed here in the coming weeks for training camp purposes with two players actually being on the final roster.

Thank you Denver for this trade. Really liked Paps and Johnson's potential to be a nice combo bench guard, but we really needed to trim some fat going into camp.

Updated the OP to reflect the Lawson trade. Great move by DM. He just continues to pull a rabbit out of a hat! Seems like every summer we add a piece that moves the needle a little bit further to the right.

    Harden 2012
    Howard 2013
    Ariza 2014
    Lawson 2015

What other fan base has added this type of quality in 4 straight summers?

Plus they have Dmo on the bench behind TJ.
