I guess Ish was always intended to play only four games with RGV. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/hou/report#notes_quotes Ish has a great attitude, by the way!
Doubt they would bring him back up for a one game suspension. Brooks may have just walked himself out of Houston or at least the rotation.
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Looks like Ish won't be at the Vipers game in Austin on Thursday I was read to scream my head off cheering for him. I'll still be there, cheering on Roby and Sullivan and the rest of the Vipers.
I like Ish. Would love to see him get some more NBA playing time. I think he has the potential to be a really good NBA player in the future.
I agree with you here. Smith has all the tools to become a very good PG. I think the game just needs to slow down for him a bit .... He gets guy's easy baskets early in the clock , especially before a defense sets up but once that happens he seems to struggle a bit getting into the flow of the offense. That will improve with time and familiarity with the system as well as the players around him. He played really well at times while Brooks was out , I get the idea that we will get to see a lot more of him soon .... Brooks days as a Rocket seem numbered. That's going to open up time at both the PG and SG spots ..... good for Lee and TWill as well as Smith.
Ish only played a few mins in those games... How could we blame him when he was sitting on the bench??
You totally missed the point. The Rockets are losing more, not because Lowry is starting. It's because they are shorthanded. Brooks or Martin were injured or recovering from injury. Rockets were forced to use a undrafted d-leaguer. A Lowry/Smith combo can't compete with a Lowry/Brooks combo from last year.
Why would any team want him without a extention signed?? makes no sense to me for a team to trade for him then loose him soon after......IT IS WRITTEN.
