Avery Bradley. He would suddenly make Gordon expendable.

How? Avery is nowhere near the kind of player Gordon is. Avery would be a great player on our team, we do need another interchangeable player, but not Gordon's replacement. No way he can even dream of scoring like Eric.

    You guys really underrate Gordon.

Who says the Rockets can’t win a championship led by Harden and Paul? You don’t know whether they can or can’t. All you are doing is speculating and projecting. Furthermore, the offseason doesn’t end today, and I’m sure Morey will figure out a way to make his major chess move at some point. Also, I want my teams to be good, and the Rockets are much better with CP3.

Finally, if DeMarcus Cousins was healthy, he doesn’t have to take this deal. A torn achilles for a man his size is not easy to recover from. Who knows, his lateral mobility may be comprised, and he proves to be a liability against the Rockets style of play.

What he was proposing was signing Bradley to be the primary guard off the bench and using Gordon as part of a package to get a third star.

Because instead of embracing and taking on a challenge, no matter how daunting, they’d rather take their ball and go home with their tails between their legs.

    Bingo.

As with CP3 and Gordon... the only reason a player of Bradley’s caliber is his injury history. You hope to have him healthy enough to integrate, and be ready for the playoffs. He is a more efficient version of Beverley with better ability to create a shot.

If you then package Gordon for a bigger wing with star power at the 3, somehow convince Melo to be a scorer off the bench (playing Gordon’s old role)...then maybe there’s a puncher’s chance.

He overpaid, $20 mil for his age and injury history. Hes making more than Lebron whose the 2nd best player ever and never gets hurt.

That’s the price you pay to attract a HOF to Houston.

KD took a discount so his team could get the best center in the league. But DONT WORRY, our 33 yr old future HOF'r demanded the max for 4 f***ing years. Glad we still got Anderson tho, he's such a help too.
