    Simple poll

    I am all for a Melo rental even if it is just throwing away some assets. Obviously you have to draw the line somewhere.

    Which players/aspects are an absolute deal breaker for you on any Melo RENTAL.

    I voted giving up Brooks and Lowry and taking back Harrington.

    The Rockets are going to have to give up at least one young player.

    I would not want them to give up more than one, though, just for a rental.

    Taking back Andersen I would consider a plus, because he fills a major void... 'Shotblocking'

    I left him off because I can pretty much guarantee you they wont give up Melo for a rental.

    they are all really good players, as long as not all of them are gone and only some of them, than I am fine, Melo is a star and we need a nucleus now. Only problem I have is taking back harrington or Anderson's contracts really for our own flexibility more than anything

    I needed a "I'm fine with any of these guys going" option.

    All together would be too much, but I wouldn't consider any individual one of them deal breakers at all. In fact, there's a couple that I'd hope would go.

    I wouldn't be opposed to anyone on the team being dealt in a rental. I don't want to much to be given up for him since he is gone come summer but there isn't a special talent on the team that just CAN'T be dealt. If the idea is to either re-sign him or hold NY hostage for talent then anyone on the roster can be replaced via either FAgency, draft or dealing Melo in the Summer.

    I dont want Harrington, but if its just say Yao and taking back Harrington, Id probably still do it.

    Rental meaning he's guaranteed to walk in free agency? I wouldn't give up anything for that -- at least not anyone who is worth his contract. The only guy in that list who is not worth his contract is Yao Ming.
