    It's so crazy that after wins by the Lakers and Spurs tonight we've fallen to the 10th seed and yet the Rockets are still only 2.5 games out of the 1st seed. The wild wild west is bonkers. Meanwhile, the 13th seed in the West has the same record as the 8th seed in the East.

    Last year we had an adjusted win total that was mentioned by the media (with CP3, Harden, and Capela), this year will will have an adjusted win total (without Carmelo)

    The OP is not wrong. Rockets are indeed 1 loss behind the Warriors. I'm here for conjecture and reckless prognostications not pure facts.

    we should all remain calm though.

    That horrible start is what was needed to get to where we are right now.

    I'm glad D'Antoni gave all the new players a chance to show if they can fit with our identity. We struggled early due to giving playing time to bad players like MCW and Melo. MDA tried out some horrific rotations.

    But in the end we filtered out the trash from the rotation and Ennis, Clark, and Hartenstein emerged as new quality additions.

    Every time the Warriors lose, I look forward to hearing what excuses their bandwagon fans and media will give them.

    “It’s ok, we’re missing players” James Harden, Chris Paul AND Eric Gordon were out at various times when the Rox were struggling.

    “It’s fine, it’s fine, just a tough stretch of the schedule” The Rockets schedule was arguably tougher to start the season, and they had to build chemistry on the fly

    “WHO CARES?? We’re the defending champions!!!” Yeah b****, the Warriors are most definitely the defending champions. And champions get no excuses.

    When everyone is back for the Warriors, they will be a damn tough team, as always. But right now I just want to fan the flames as they implode.
