You wouldn’t want Marcus Morris, currently shooting 50% on catch and shoot 3’s this season?

That’s great and all, but how many wing players making no more than $9.5 million (realistically around $7.7 million) are worth our remaining first rounders/are attainable with our first rounders/and are going to make much of a difference for our season?

The best (most) we can offer is House + Nene + Thabo with our picks and that’s a stretch considering most teams would max be able to do a 2 for 1 meaning we need to find a third team to eat one of Nenes or Thabos contracts. More likely the best we can do is offer House + Nene on top of our first rounders, and guess what, that doesn’t even get us to Crowder’s contract of $7.8.

On a side note, Marvin Williams recently said he’s contemplating retirement after this season. Wouldn’t be a prized acquisition, but if he can get bought out for one last go with a good team I’d prioritize that. Cheap way to give us an option for forward depth.

Salary matching for Marcus would be tough. (Those Knicks sure know how to over-pay.)

Markieff's salary is considerably more palatable.

A power forward taller than 6'6"-ish.

This, as always, is what matters.

That's the spirit. Just think about it, we about to be trash with this trash owner after the Harden/Westbrook era ends. So stop worrying so much about 1st rounders.

We are destined to join the Knicks in the ranks of idiot owner that sticks his nose where it doesn't belong.

    WRONG.

The 2030’s could be awesome. Late 30’s, not early 30’s.

Lauri Markkanen!!! 7'0, shoot the 3, plays good D and he's young. I would send Hardenstein, House and a future #1 to Chicago

He's been struggling lately in Chicago because they want him to shoot Mid-Range and cut more to the basket. I think playing on the wing here would enhance his game.

Let's use those picks to get rid of salary to get under the luxury tax instead, wait - we already did that last year. Groan.

Why? Hartenstein is 7'and he doesn't play.

Guys like Favours play C these days. The old skool PF is gone. A big wing plays the position.

So technically I agree with you - someone taller than 6'6 would be great. But still a wing player.
