OP really should be specific that they're not willing to trade Bev for Shump. But they are willing to trade Bev. And looking for the right deal. It may not happen. But not because they weren't looking. They are looking very hard at trading Bev.

Nah, he will say its because James Harden didn't approve of the trade and forced Morey and Les to cancel it. Remember, Harden runs this team now and makes all of our personnel decisions. Morey is just a figurehead.
Bev has been amazing this season. 3's, defense, energy, rebounding, passing, low tunrovers. Great all round season from him, struggling with health again, but as always he's giving 100% on fighting through it and coming back strong.

Highly doubtful that we are actively shopping anyone other than KJ and Ennis (I don't waste time thinking about trading wiltjer, brown, China I).. But EVERYONE outside of harden is available if the right deal comes along, that's a given. For the fools on here who think we can trade for Butler or PG or any big name, you're out of your depth. Idk why you guys seem to throw team chemistry out the window but it's probably bc you guys have all your basketball experience from 2k or something. Bev and Ariza are the heart and glue guys for our team. And they are on good contracts. And they are decent defenders. You don't get rid of them for the shumperts and Nick Young's of the world. Now if you can get a star sure, but there is no chance in hell any team is trading stars for aging role players. Sorry I'm sure all of this is obvious to most of you but my god some people on here are oblivious.

I agree, Less still wants a second and third star. I don't blame him, how often do teams win it with one star? We are doing well this year buuutt playoffs will be another story. It doesn't make sense to trade starters for bench role players or equal level starters.

The thread was about Rox not willing to trade Bev for Iman Shumpert, and not for Butler or Paul George so I don't even know why you bring this up. Nobody on the team is untradeable, if GSW said hey I'll give you KD, Klay Thompson and Green for Harden you think Morey says no?
The cavs are always interested in something. The Rockets would be dumb to trade Bev. Bev fits with Harden just like Derrick Fisher fit Kobe. There are other parts on this team that are alot more expendable.
