Besides, it's just posturing by the Nuggets FO into scaring Melo. I highly doubt he would agree to sign an extension with the Wolves or Kings.

Poker face! Everyone is playing the game. Melo, Nuggets, Morey all trying to get what they want, to go all in, bluff while keeping a straight face. Regardless Melo will be somewhere sooner rather than later.

 

Useless posturing by Denver FO to try to show they have leverage. Melo decides where he wants to go because no one will take him without an extension. It is that simple.

 

DD, I have respected a lot of your posts on this board, but your outrate hating of Melo is disgusting and looks petty and childish. Artest did a lot worse things than Melo. He called out a chick in the heat of the moment, so what? It's not like he said, "Hey, I need some dude to smack this w****". She is what she is. There are so many females out there these days that act exactly the way they get treated. A lady is a lady, anything else falls short of respect.

The Nuggets would rather trade with those three teams any day, but no this is probably just a statement that you get what you ask for. You want a trade.... well how about the Wolves? Guess what though... it wont happen because even Kahn isnt dumb enough to drain his assets for a one year rental.

Plus you have to consider the fact that they are wanting to make the playoffs with or without him, and making us better and making themselves worse is not what I would want to do if I was the new GM of the Nuggets.

 

My first thought is that this just posturing by the Nugget front office, but then you have to consider Kahn. He might just do this trade for a one year rental if the Nuggets throw in a couple of scrub point guards.

Like Morey, Kahn moves in mysterious ways. Do we understand his plan? The answer is another question. Can we understand his plan? Probably not.
