Trey Burke - yes Mitch McGary - undecided GRIII & Hardaway Jr. - probably <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>It appears Michigan's Glenn Robinson III and Tim Hardaway Jr are moving closer to turning pro.</p>— Gery Woelfel (@GeryWoelfel) <a href="https://twitter.com/GeryWoelfel/status/324223344805289984">April 16, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Well the 2013 NBA draft just got even weaker if possible... Marcus Smart will return to Oklahoma St per Adrian WOJ from Yahoo sports... He will make it official in press conference at Oklahoma St... 2014 Nba Draft will be SICK of talent...
Unfortunately for Withey, this is actually a year with a TON of big men. No one stands out particularly aside from Noel and McGary, but guys that could be taken anywhere from 5 to 30 include Isaiah Austin, Rudy Gobert, Zeller, Len, Olynyk, Plumlee, and Gorgui Dieng. Jeff Withey is gonna be a 25 to 40 pick.
Smart just isn't smart. He probably lost about 10 million with that decision if you count dropping about 5 spots in draft each year and a year on contract not subject to rookie scale.
2nd round pick from Phoenix - 3rd or 4th in second round. I heard on the radio that he had a rough childhood, and he really likes the stability and friends he has in Stillwater. Personally, I think his friends need a swift kick for not talking him out of it.
We really picked a good draft to not have a pick. As for Smart, yes this will cost him a good amount of money, but I can't fault a guy for enjoying himself and pursuing his education.
I think he's just trying to generate buzz. I suspect he reverses course and declares at the last second.
I really like Isaiah Austin as a stretch big man who can shoot and block shots. Maybe Baylor/Big 12 fans can give their impressions on him, but from watching him in the NIT he seems like a perfect fit for this team. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/61568/isaiah-austin http://nbadraft.net/players/isaiah-austin
Alex Abrines, if he's in the draft - DRAFT HIM. I opened a thread to talk about him. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=7857962#post7857962
Michigan State's Gary Harris is returning to school. As are Michigan's Glenn Robinson & Mitch McGary.
Really not the strongest draft class. I'm surprised that I have seen a lot of mock draft's putting Tim Hardaway Jr. in the early 2nd round, also. I love his game. I can really see him being a solid pro, maybe not for us but for whoever picks him up at whatever point in the draft.
Baffling. You'd think if it was a really weak draft, you'd WANT to come out early. Some of these kids are going to cost themselves millions.
Houston (45-37) won a tiebreaker with Chicago and the L.A. Lakers; the Lakers then won a tiebreaker with Chicago. So the 1st we trade in the Terrence Williams trade
Sorry the 1st we give in the Terrence Williams trade ended in the 17 place. And the 1st we recieve from Memphis (Battier trade) and we give to Minny in the Dmo trade ended in the 26 place
