Honestly I'd rather have Gasol than Kobe right now. I think people are down on Gasol due to the playoffs, but he is only 31 and he is one of the most skilled players in the league.

If Patterson develops into a rebounding machine it will be a deadly 1/2 combo.

What Navarro is this idiot talking about? Is there some super stud like Yu Darvish coming out of the Japanese leagues and none of us know about him? Did he edit his Navarro in 2K12 to be as good as Kobe and Wade? I did that one time with Buddinger and he was better than Kobe!! Maybe that is what this fool is talking about!!

    How do you figure?

Morey has done nothing that has made me wish I had a different GM at the helm.

at best it's a marginal playoff team that just made it more difficult to go acquire the superstar they hoped to find and build around.

Gasol for Scola, K-Mart and Dragic... sounds like we're getting screwed to me. I REALLY hope Morey has something else up his sleeve. I hate Gasol so very, very much.

True, forgot about that scrub too. I can't even tell which one out of those two has more potential.

I'm okay with Scola being gone but Kevin Martin is a gifted scorer.

the commitment to mediocrity lives on!!!!

RT @knickerblogger: Great move by the Rockets to grab Gasol. If he's proved anything in his career, it's that he can carry a mediocre team.

If we did trade Scola and Kmart for Gasol, Morey better sleep with one eye open.

Are we talking about the same Navarro that already played in the NBA for the Grizz? The 6'3" under sized shooting guard that barely hit 40% of his shots for Memphis?

This is the guy you think will magically transform the Rockets into a championship contender? Please tell me your not trying to sell the bbs on that pipe dream.

So we basically bought CP3 for the Lakers. What a joke. Only hope is that the NBA (which owns the hornets) has a change of heart. Then again, the NBA probably is loving that CP3 is in LA. This blows. Did we give up a first rounder too? All this ***** about competitive balance and this happens?

The trade doesn't work cap-wise the way ESPN is reporting it.
