Rockets jersey nickname ideas

    With the Nets and Heat having their nickname jerseys on yesterday (some of them were awful... I don't know about you but initials aren't nicknames) I thought I would share my ideas with you guys, and can add or change whatever you feel. I'll avoid using boring "nicknames" like "Bev" or "D12".

    Harden: Beard/Santa
    Dwight: Rocketman (Superman couldn't be used cuz Copyright)
    Chandler: Bang
    Lin: Linsanity
    Beverley: Chicago Shutdown
    Omer Asik: Turkish Delight (leave Asik hate on the trade Asik thread plz)
    Terrence Jones: Dr. Dunk
    Garcia: Cisco Kid
    Omri Casspi: The Great Casspi
    Aaron Brooks: The Hawk
    Greg Smith: Country Ox
    Donatas: Donuts/Wolfman (for his comments about being afraid of wolves)
    Brewer: Bud Lights-out
    Isiah Canaan: Biloxi Baron (couldn't really think of anything)
    Covington: Bellwood Heater (same as above lol)

    I also remember Dwight giving alot of these guys nicknames, but I just remembered after posting it. :( Ah well, just post em below if they're good :p:grin:;):p:cool:

    OP, that's a good start but some of the names have too many letters in them.

    I like DMo, Scoopy, Gummy, Cannon, Agent0...

    I stayed away from DMo because I classify it as a boring nickname (like D-Will, D-Rose, D-Wade etc). "Dream", "Glide", "Magic", "Pistol", "Hondo" and "Ice" are what I feel are GOOD nicknames.

    I think making up a nickname nobody has ever called you is super lame (I'm looking at you, Teletovic)... I'd go with ones we've legit heard before.

    Harden: Beard
    Dwight: D12
    Chandler: Chandler Bang
    Lin: Linsanity
    Beverley: Mr. 94 Feet
    Omer Asik: Big O
    Terrence Jones: T. Jones (if D. Wade can do it, why not? :cool: )
    Garcia: Cisco
    Omri Casspi: The Great Casspi (never heard this, but I like it so it stays)

    I still really like the idea of calling Dwight the Dwightmare as the successor of the Dream. Lets try to exclusively call him that so it sticks.
