You'll see alot of this guys. The Rockets don't have any way to sign guys like Perk and Boozer unless its a vet min signing. As a vet min signing after other FA/trades you could probably do worse as a 3rd string/situational backup to Dwight. He's not getting anything more than the BAE from teams around the league so who knows but I wouldn't get too upset about this. The Rockets do need some beef behind Dwight for certain situations. Perk is a big doofus I know, but he could be somewhat useful. (also.... Agents around the league that try to sell their clients in free agency ALWAYS list the Rockets because they are just trying to create fake market, and they know NOBODY will dispute the Rockets being interested in anybody... so half of these "Rockets are interested" reports are agents creating fake markets for their players to drive interest).
It may be looking like the rockets are setting up a trade for a PG if you ask me. Capela could be part of it, you never know.

Rodney Stuckey was mentioned as a potential target. He is a better overall player than Prigioni/ Terry.
If mauri is seriously considering him, then I hope Perkins gets a bad injury so we'll look elsewhere.
I think player agents are just reporting that the Rockets are interested in their client because they know a player isn't really on the market until the Rockets are interested.
There have been multiple reports of our interest in these geezer backup 5's. Makes me think Dorsey is for sure gone and possibly even a bigger trade involving one of DMo/Capela is on the hoof.
