Too much at stake to lose Dragic; can't believe this is quite true. Or I don't want to?

If Goran can get someone to give him 10M - congrats to him!
If he signs elsewhere for the 7-8M/yr i'd be willing to offer, then somebodys gonna have some 'splainin to do....

I just can't see how you can justify paying Dragic when you can have Lowry for 6 Million. Dragic is better (mainly because of his ability to finish at the rim) but not by much. Give Dragic 8 million a year max.

10 million is way too much for this Goran. I doubt someone gives him that much money. If they do, jokes on them really.

Still, we really need him. I'm done with Lowry and don't want him back.

I doubt ANY team will offer him $10 million.

Well, this really throws a wrench in our plans since we were planning on resigning him and keeping Lowry.

Ugh...Rockets have the worst luck. Injuries, drafts gone wrong, and now players not commiting. :(

This off-season is one gut punch after another. Being a Rockets fan is exhausting. I don't envy Daryl Morey one bit.

Too bad it's a buyers market for Point guards.

Quite a few quality free agent PGs out there. It's a waiting game for the Rockets. If a team jumps the queue, good for Dragic, bummer for the Rockets. Otherwise, no need to jump around.

LOL, true. Was hoping he would be right for once.

So, Clutch: Where do you think we go from here?

Is this posturing/negotiations or is Dragic getting an offer too big for the Rockets to want to compete with?

What does this mean to the rest of the offseason plans? Guess the big thing is you don't have Lowry as a trade chip any more unless you want to risk going into the season without a PG.

Does this mean that the Rockets are not optimistic about their chase of Eric Gordon and other stars also? It seems that paying Goran more than fair market value is a less of an issue when you already have your core together than it is when you need the salary flexibility to build a core.

The longer Dragic waits, the less money is out there, when those other PGs sign.

It benefits the Rockets to wait it out, but it's risky.
