Makes absolutely no sense if we don't end up with a max player this summer. Destroys any 2015 plan (Assuming we don't inexplicably let him walk).

    Bye bye Chandler?

He probably won't be brought back unless it's for around market value (7-8 million/year) and there will be one team that will give him 10 million. Milwaukee? Doesn't look good for all the Parsons fans who want him in Houston.

But this could be a sign that the Rocket's are confident they are going to get a third star player this off season and could not afford Parsons anyway.

The names mentioned include damn near every opt-out candidate worth mentioning! Looks like we're in for another crazy summer. :)-

This says to me they want to keep him.

Otherwise they could have kept him for peanuts and let him go next year.

This might be the craziest offseason we've had. There are so many potential scenarios here, no one knows who we are really targeting and who is really targeting us.

What happen if the Rockets trade Parsons in the draft day?
The new Parsons team will be the same situation?

Or include him in a sign and trade, Though I don't know why he'd agree to leave us.

$12-13M per year for Parsons? Am I being parsimonious in thinking this is excessive and contains a 20-30% handsome white guy bonus?

The knicks sign him to a poison pill contract paying him $20m in his third year. The circle is finally complete

    $12-13 mil

Just for reference: James Harden is scheduled to make $14,728,844 next year.
