I have a feeling that if T-Mac comes back for the game tuesday against Atlanta and is back for good, that the Rockets will be fine. Right now I firmly believe that they'll win 3 in a row to get to 6-11 before heading back out on the road. 6-11, sounds familiar doesn't it? The Rockets will be fine once everyone is healthy and they get used to playing with one another. We've already seen DA and Wesley's shot come back to form.
Examples of dumb threads or posts are:
    • JVG is an idiot and needs to be fired....ya, where were these posts last year? Comon, he didn't just forget how to coach! I mean were losing because we don't T-Mac
    • Yao needs to be traded...ya, considering he's tied for the most points per game by a center, that might not be a good idea. Unless your getting shaq or amare in return, your not going to get a better center. Plus he's much more durable, he played in 80 of 82 games last year while Shaq is getting pretty old and Amare just had a serious, serious knee surgery.
    • The Rockets are done, they have no shot at the playoffs now.... Uh, I seem to remember a 6-11 start last year and them not getting over .500 for good last year until January 2nd.
    • Anything involving doom and gloom before JANUARY!!
    • Our shooters are done, they can't play anymore, there all crap like any smart person knew. Seems most people on here thought those guys would never recover and have to retire. Hello, it's still NOVEMBER!!!!!

Nothing is won or lost during this part of the season! Settle down, relax, and have faith.

Not to mention, we've been blown out in exactly one game. Even without a healthy T-Mac, we've played the likes of Indiana, Miami, Detroit, Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix deep into the 4th quarter. Not to mention other playoff teams like Memphis and Chicago.

    Houston fans never learn.

Thank you for this thread. Your point is valid and well taken that we have played the elite teams in the league and played well up to the 4th Q. Many long term fans -including myself have felt frustration. I know my expectations were so high going into the season. We really have improved our back court. No one knew Sura would not be coming back. No one knew TMAc would be hurt.

I am proud of Yao - he is doing everything and more than I expected.
I have not given up on Alston or Anderson. I wish Bowen had a shot.

I did not want to hire Van Gundy in the 1st place. I am fine with him now.

I am supporting Van Gundy and think he will do fine. He needs all the ingredients to make it work.

    Patience!

The only way stop fans from making negative threads is for the Rockets to win games and most especially stop committing stupid errors on the court. This is professional basketball.

It is ok to start encouraging threads like this but you can never stop fans from sharing their dissapointments here, this is a forum I believe for both positive and negative things about the Rockets. It would be stupid for us to be praising them while they keep on losing.

    Go Rockets.

If anyone deems a thread worthy of replying to, then it must have been worthy of posting.

Good thread, good points. But the plus side to all these people giving up is that we've got a lot of potential "Classic Moments" :D
