    They. Just. Do. Not. Care.

Trump is literally turning the executive branch into a version of himself.

I am now 100% sure even if they had hard evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians for the 2016 election, the GOP senate will not convict him, this is where we are as a country today.

In another temper tweetrum trump keeps reviving interest in mueller and as is his history, threatens lawsuits that he rarely ever follows through... and while trump's obvious intention is to continue to weaken the American judicial system, I am also sure the thought of discovery would make all of his targets welcome the blowhard-in-chief's empty threats...

Trump threatens lawsuits over Mueller probe
The president's posts represent the latest development in his renewed assault against Robert Mueller.

That would be awesome if Trump sued. There would be a lot of damning information made public.

Hence why he is bluffing as is most of the time when he threatens to sue.

Yeah, he almost never follows through on his threats of lawsuits. Like with most things, he's a liar.

Not quite true, he actually does follow through with lawsuits...that's basically his M.O. Out of the 3,500+ cases that he or his company was part of prior to his election, 1,900 saw him as the plaintiff.

However, libel (which is what he's claiming here), is not something he gets involved with too often. According to the graphic below, he's only been involved with 15 cases involving libel/slander of the media.

Curious, are the majority of those his company suing, or him as an individual. I suspect he feels safe its his company suing, but as an individual his records would be at risk.

Hard to tell, I haven't been able to find anything that parses it out.

On a different topic, I did find this document, that goes back to the libel aspect of what was being talked about:

    https://www.medialaw.org/component/...trump-is-a-libel-bully-but-also-a-libel-loser

Donald J. Trump Is A Libel Bully But Also A Libel Loser

    By Susan E. Seager

Donald J. Trump is a libel bully. Like most bullies, he's also a loser, to borrow from Trump's vocabulary.

Trump and his companies have been involved in a mind-boggling 4,000 lawsuits over the last 30 years and sent countless threatening cease-and-desist letters to journalists and critics.

But the GOP presidential nominee and his companies have never won a single speech-related case filed in a public court.

This article examines seven speech-related cases brought by Trump and his companies, which include four dismissals on the merits, two voluntary withdrawals, and one lone victory in an arbitration won by default. Media defense lawyers would do well to remind Trump of his sorry record in speech-related cases filed in public courts when responding to bullying libel cease-and-desist letters.

Trump's lawsuits are worthy of a comedy routine, as when Trump sued HBO comedian Bill Maher for suckering Trump into sending his birth certificate to prove he was not the "spawn" of an orangutan, and Trump hit back with a $5-million breach-of-contract lawsuit, only to withdraw it after the Hollywood Reporter ridiculed it. Can anyone say Hustler v. Falwell?

Orangutans and joking aside, this examination of Trump's libel losses also provides a powerful illustration of why more states need to enact anti-SLAPP laws to discourage libel bullies like Trump from filing frivolous lawsuits to chill speech about matters of public concern and run up legal tabs for journalists and critics.

Goes into a breakdown over specifics of those cases.

Transcripts of conversation between Papadopolous (CT) and one of the confidential informants (CHS, either Brennan's or the FBI's) they tried to run at him to dirty up the Trump campaign.

The guy is desperately trying to entrap GP and it's clear they have nothing.

You fail the mention the entire part where Paps goes on about how he doesn't think Russia would actually meddle in the 2016 election.

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/george...gn-was-involved-in-dnc-hack-in-recorded-call/

Paps is either an idiot, or a hack who just spouts the Trump line, or both. Even in off the record conversations. The only thing to take from this conversation is that Paps was saying what any Trump campaign person would have said at the time to anyone... which is the Trump line.

Should the FBI have not omitted this conversation... of course. But the reason why they probably didn't is because they probably wanted to give credence to the revelation that Wikileaks had the stolen emails, and this conversation just proves he's just a campaign hack who really is clueless. I think if they included this conversation, most people would understand the context. They had a million reasons to investigate.

My guess is everyone already knew Wikileaks had the emails, they just needed someone on the record who would admit that they the Trump campaign also knows. The FBI had every right to take a look at the Trump campaign, and when you uncover what they uncovered with hundreds of contacts to Russians, a letter of intent with the Kremlin for Trump to build Trump Tower Moscow, and the dozens of other revelations that tied Trump to Russia... I'm glad that Paps was dumb enough to tell them what the FBI probably already knew... which was that Russia is F-ing with our election, and it needs to be exposed, and we needed to make sure Trump was not compromised... which he kind of was even if it was never proven that he was working directly with them on the DNC hacks.
