I'm unclear on the timeline. What, if any, of these Flynn revelations are new, like new since the release of the Muller report?

If Flynn gave testimony to obstruction of justice which is already included in the already completed report, doesn't that have little effect on the final outcome because Barr already set the narrative with his summary?

Or is there evidence that is new new?

This thread is fascinating. How 2 different sides can interpret facts in 2 completely different ways shows the power of propaganda in this country.

This could not be going any better for Putin.

It honestly doesn’t matter at this point who comes in to testify, or who lied to who, or who did what. The Mueller report can be completely redacted with all kinds of impeachable content and it does not matter.
Mueller can come in to testify but there is nothing he can say that will change a thing. The democrats are too weak to do anything about it and refuse to fight back. Trump will maintain power no matter what at this point. And he now knows it. As we continue to move toward this impending dictatorship, his power and defiance of the constitution will only increase.

The Russians are supposedly ramping up their efforts to influence the 2020 election and no one is even investigating it. No big deal. So why would they stop? They have completely punked us and we have not done anything to deter them.

Conservatives have been told for decades the real enemy of the state are liberal Americans. This is why Conservatives/Republicans don’t care about Russian interference or influence. They truly believe that liberals are more of a threat than a foreign hostile power. Conservatives would believe and trust Putin even more than Biden. That’s how far this gone.

Putin is a genius. He’s found a way to use American propaganda to his favor. He got everything he wanted and much much more.
There is damage being done to this democracy that may never be undone. The country hasn’t been this divided or confused since the 1960’s.

This is classic divide and conquer. Angela Merkel now considers the US to be a global foe, and has called on Europe to stand with them to oppose the US, Russia and China.

The democratic strategy of sitting back and waiting for 2020 for everything to correct itself is a pipe dream imho.

 

Totally understandable, and he’s right. The moment the truth is uttered from his mouth, the Trump propaganda machine will turn it into a perceived political attack on Trump and in turn it will allow the 40% of FoxNews watchers to throw the report and it’s evidence in the garbage.

I think the right course of action is calling up those in the report such as McGahan, Etc. I agree with Muellers folks here that him testifying actually puts the work itself in political jeopardy.

Americans are susceptible to propaganda because we have a highly ignorant base of people in this county who have been cultivated by FoxNews for decades to be a weapon for the Republican Party for exactly this exact occasion (when the party is in trouble of being truly held accountable).

Again shows that Mueller is extremely calculating and Democrats should take note.
