Robert Mueller, Former F.B.I. Director, Is Named Special Counsel for Russia Investigation

Yes. They should definitely have Mueller come testify in Congress under oath to answer a barrage of questions on this and everything else for the world to see.

 

But if Trump has his way, Mueller will never testify in front of Congress and the fact that Steele wrote the entire Mueller Report will remain a secret.

 

The Republicans are ready. It is Nadler and the Democrats who are dragging their feet.

Mueller was supposed to testify today, but Chairman Nadler announced last week that his scheduled appearance was cancelled and no alternate date was announced.

Of course AG Barr has stated repeatedly that he is fine with Mueller testifying and not even Chairman Nadler or even Adam Schiff has tried to suggest that Mueller's testimony was in any way being blocked by Barr, Trump or any Republican.

So, by all means, let Mueller testify. If only the Democrats and Chairman Nadler will stop blocking this from happening, then surely it will happen soon afterwards.

Mueller’s complete report and the supporting evidence have yet to be revealed in its entirety to Congress, even in closed session, much less to the American people. Yet you and those like you expect the American people to accept the very misleading spin that trump, his people, and his handpicked AG, who is busy acting as trump’s personal attorney against all precedent, keep pumping out. Mueller himself has said it was his intention for Congress to view the entire report and the supporting evidence, and said so in the report, something all of you that are so eager to believe everything out of trump’s mouth seem remarkably uninterested in, with all due respect.

If your guy and his surrounding accomplices have done nothing, why are you and those like you so insistent on ignoring the fact that Mueller intended for Congress to see the results of his investigation and the supporting evidence, and not with important parts of it redacted, so that that body, who have the right to do so, could make its own judgement about the results and what actions might be called for?

What are all of you so fearful of? More to the point, what is trump afraid of? Why did Barr put out a very misleading 4 page summary of the report after a ludicrous press conference and both before Congress had seen anything, and obviously to spin the findings in order to influence people like you?

I guess if I was adamant, it was just that the report be read. And ... it is super, super disturbing. Everyone should read it, but I know very few have. Who has the time.
