Love him or hate him that fact is Trump won fair and square but too many powerful people won't accept it. They will twist and turn everything he says or does until he trips up or he gives up. The reaction has been terrifying for me because our democratic process is under an all at attack and most people support it. I'm convinced more than ever that Trump will not complete his term. The "good guys" are working overtime to destroy our democratic process because they lost and will never accept it.

 

If Trump somehow ended a FISA court wiretap on a criminal investigation of his campaign manager who is now going to be indicted then we can add one more obstruction of justice charge to Trump's resume.

 

Somehow working with a foreign power that wishes to undermine us does not count as an all out attack on the democratic process, hung?

If Hillary Clinton had the same charge leveled against her you'd be burning her in effigy. Ya'll need to quit making excuses for Trrump.

 

Wow... the Trump supporters seem to be reeling about this news. Either they try to spin it ("See, SEE, Trump was right again!") even though the FISA warrant was on Manafort, not Trump... so any recording of Trump would have caught any discussions between the subject of the warrant and Trump. So, Trump wasn't "right all along." Second, these recordings may prove Trump was at least aware of, if not actively involved in any collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia. So any Trump supporter celebrating this new report is laughable. I suspect at least some of the Trump supporters know this, hence the emotional reaction we are seeing in this and other threads.

Wtf are you talking about? Democratic process? You support a president who accepted help from a hostile foreign power whose mission statement is to destroy Democracy to win the election and you want to sit here and lecture about Democracy? How hypocritical can you be man?

How about the Democratic processs of passing laws that affect 1/6 of our economy? Your party is moving in the den of night to pass a bill that will take away healthcare for millions and gut Medicaid without hearings, CBO score, etc, but you want to lecture us about Democratic process?

How about voting? You believe voting is essential to the Democratic process? Because Trump is working overtime with Kobach and others to enforce efforts to make sure every state is forced to have North Carolina like voting laws that the courts have found targeted minority's "with precision"...

Again... don't come here and lecture us about the Democratic process if you are a Trump supporter. You know what you signed on for and it sure as hell isnt Democracy.

He claimed Obama had his wires tapped, and that Trump Tower was tapped right before his election victory. It wasn't McCarthyism as Trump said, it wasn't Watergate level bad as Trump said, and it was legal which Trump questioned. There is still no evidence that it was Trump Tower that wiretapped. Trump was wrong then, and nothing that has come out now has changed that.

wire-tapping can only be done w FISA court approval. All the Trump WH had to do to to review all the FISA approved wire-tap orders issued the 8 yrs prior

You are so worried about our Democracy..... why don't you call out the people who actually hold ALL OF THE POWER in this country, and have a growing power hold over our courts with more appointments underway to undercut things like voting rights, etc. Where is your passion for Democracy there? Why don't you call out the single most watched News station in the country? Its always "The Media" with you guys and no mention of the fact that FoxNews is the most watched cable outlet in the country and has been for years. Where is the outrage there? And don't even get me started with the fixation of Antifa as the new excuse to anything hard right extremist.
