He was incredible in the 95 playoffs from mid Phoenix series on when the Rockets put him at the 4 and put Elie in the starting lineup.

No disrespect to you or Mr Horry (take that, Sean) however, I believe Bob McAdoo was the 1st stretch 4 and 1st unicorn.

Knowing Morey, he would've gave Rob the max and we'd be crippled salary-wise.

If we had Horry these last 3 years . . . .We'd be two time champions

Knee jerk move to trade him and Cassell for Barkley. Hopefully, we are not knee-jerking again.

That was a bad trade in retrospect

Horry has a bunch of rings with different teams for a reason. He was a winner. He made big shots in critical situations. The Rockets wouldn’t go 0-27 with him on the team. That’s for damn sure.

It was the only way they could beat the Sonics, and Hakeem and Clyde probably only had a couple of productive years left. It was the right move to keep the championship window open.

No way. He's way too old to play now. He'd be a liability on defense

Clint Capela was the only Rocket in that game 7 with a worse career 3-point percentage than Robert Horry.

Sam Cassell also was a great Point Guard, Sam Cassell was midrange and Clutch 3 since his Rookie Year.

The sad part is Sam Cassell, Robert Horry types is sorely needed, but Daryl cannot find these players in the draft.

Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam reminds me of Sam Cassell, Robert Horry.

The Raptors drafted them in the low rounds, but Daryl doesn't know how to draft.

The Rockets are en route to a threepeat if the Warriors don't exist.

All the Rockets fans in 1992 wanted Harold ‘baby Jordan’ Minor instead of Horry.

    This.

Also, Chuck was brought in to counter all the good/great power forwards in the west. Kemp in Seattle, Malone in Utah, McDyess in Denver, Garnett in Minny, Wallace in Portland, and the great Carl Herrera  in San Antonio.

Loved Horry as a Rocket, also love that he always shoots down the infuriating nonsense that Houston only won because Jordan retired.

    Some, not all.

I didn’t know I wanted Horry but I knew I didn’t want Harold. I wanted Bryant Stith and thought he would be a more solid NBA Player than Harold. (He was.) When Horry got picked, I was OK with it, but then he sucked, later he got better, and then it all worked out.

Not just a bunch of rings. SEVEN rings. The most rings of any player of the modern era. Only players on Bill Russell's Celtics have more rings.

More rings than Jordan, Kobe, Kareem, Magic, Duncan, et al. I used to think he was the luckiest player in the NBA to have been on three separate legendary teams, but at the same time, I think those three legendary teams knew they also needed/wanted Robert Horry on their team.

Even though only 2/7 of his rings came from us, we were the first two, and Horry should always be revered here in Houston.

is this what you would call an "adjustment?" sorry for asking but i've not seen any of those in the last few years.
