just saw big shot bob at HEB, the cashier asked him if he wanted to donate to march of dimes and he said nah its cool. cool story, bro.
this looks like the heb off westeimer and kirkwood, cause i remember i met adrian griffin (remember him) at that heb over there awhile back when he used to play for the rockets.
cheap ass atletes, celebs, etc make me sick, all that money theyll ever need but wont help ppl in need or donate a couple chips? jus sad
He came to the gym in which I work at. He seemed like a pretty calm fella. I've had a good amount of Rockets' players play/visit my club. Hakeem used to train at my gym.
Saw Robert Horry at The Tasting Room in Uptown Park last year. He walked in with one girl, walked out with three. He may not have donated to the March of Dimes in the instant you saw him, but he may have cut a check for $10k at home to help find the cure to cancer. I'm just sayin'... you never know.
If you search "robert horry charity" in google, you'll see that he's pretty involved. I wouldn't make too much of not adding the dollar or whatever to his grocery bill.
Give me a break. You do know Horry has done plenty of charity work during his NBA tenure right? He doesn't have to donate to some grocery store where you're not even sure where the money goes.
It's a few cents of donation. Maybe a dollar... Almost nobody does those kind of charity donations...
I'm from Andalusia, AL where Robert is from, and I can tell you personally that he's done plenty of good for our small town such as paying for 100% of the new playground at the elementary school where my sister attends and building a nice new park in the city for children to play basketball and such. Plus, his charity does great things as well.
Always calm and cool in the clutch. That is why I think he should make the HOF. I realize he was a role player but the history of the league would be drastically different had he not played on those championship teams he played on.
