    It's not even logical.

    Duncan and the Spurs won after MJ retired again.

    At least the Rockets won during a season where Jordan played on the Bulls into the playoffs.

    Lebron has won 0 rings while MJ was playing. Same as The Warriors. Also Dr. J.

    Basically anyone whose careers didn't overlap with MJs Bulls should be discredited then.

    It's unfortunate that Horry doesn't have a more articulate argument pre-cooked for this kind of stuff, considering he probably gets asked all the time. The free throw shooting, which was the only bit of concrete evidence he presented, isn't even worth mentioning since they were both roughly 70% for their careers.

    Hakeem was better than Duncan in every single thing that can be measured except championships.

    And if we're using that metric then Horry > Duncan.

    MJ was so marketable that those last 2 championships, when Nike, Gatorade and others were cashing in really big due to a an even greater understanding of brand name, it's hard not to argue that MJ got elite favorable calls that help him win some championships more than anybody else before him. I've seen MJ get abused back in his athletic prime while winning his earlier championships and he gets all the credit for those but man did he have it too good those latter years officiating wise.
