I despise the "Oilers" as much as the next Houstonian, but even I have to admit Bironas was a pretty good kicker. I was surprised when Nashpatch released him and even more so when nobody picked him. Wonder if he had some "personal issues" although neither drugs or alcohol are believed to have played a role in the accident. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11563129/rob-bironas-former-tennessee-titans-kicker-dies
My favorite kicker ever. Graduated from my alma mater (Georgia Southern) and then became a great kicker for my favorite NFL team. I had him for years on my fantasy teams.
I always hated but respected him, mainly cause I hate the Titans and I knew when he kicked it was automatic. I was also for him coming here when Randy was kicking terribly. Terrible loss though, praying for his family

Its crazy, i hope his family makes it through as best they can. Crazy that i had him as the kicker of my fantasy team this week and then at noon Sunday i went to yahoo and seen he passed any, that was unbelievable. My first time playing fantasy football and that happens, speechless.
Stupid auto correct on my phone screwed up my post n put that dumb angry face. Im sad he passed away, fantasy football is unimportant to that.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Rob several times In Nashville. I know his best friend and I Can say that he was a very nice and generous person.
