He could be our second option eventually if given enough NBA minutes. They need to get him onto the NBA court and let him play 20+ per game.
Machado 20 pt,8 assist and 7 rb! Don't you guys think that he could do much more than Douglas on rockets? Lets wait and hope....
compare his movement. something re-energised him later. dont mind him jacking up those threes though. he wont do that in NBA.
[rquoter]With White unavailable and Cole Aldrich and Carlos Delfino out, the Rockets are likely to bring back Donatas Motiejunas from his NBA Development League assignment this weekend.[/rquoter] http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2012/11/white-and-rockets-working-on-return/
I don't think I'm going to watch all of this, but judging by Donatas' 1st quarter, he's way too good for the D-League. Also, he was the most unselfish non-point guard on both teams.
I only watched the first half, but Machado was terrible. He took a three in transition that was about four feet behind the arc, which he airballed. He took floaters in the lane over multiple defenders and missed. On two occasions he passed to no one in particular and another Viper just to happened to get there before a defender, saving Machado from turnovers. He unsuccessfully tried to split a double team. He gets caught in the air. I was encouraged by his preseason play, but there's no way he'll get a call up if he doesn't improve his decision making.
