Probably the Black Queen, too ... seeing that the league already has their White Knights of basketball, and we aren't on their side.

He's the Black Queen with one red eye.

Is the Ringer trying to curse James Harden? They wrote a whole article about House being the X-factor, now House is dead.

One of the pawns may get to the end row and turn into a queen.

LOL...King James. Would have been very interesting on court with Harden and Paul. Paul can be the Bishop, Tucker is the rook. Rivers and Gordon are the other bishop and rook. Everyone else is the pawn, including Clint for this series.

I dig the title of the article but don’t necessarily like the way they limited our other players who have been playing very well. They aren’t pawns!! They can emphasize the other team as pwns but not our other players.

Each one of Harden's moves were pretty much developed in a different offseason. It has taken an accumulation of years of hard work and ingenuity to build his game.

That is what pisses me off about Giannis' inevitable MVP. The young guy has a lot of work ahead of him to mature his game (e.g. shooting, passing, a 2nd move). He is prematurely being rewarded solely bc he is a physical specimen, his team's improvement, and dunks. Harden went through a lot, and right when it is his time, and he is dominating, the media puts a raw Giannis ahead of him.

Frustrating. Given the media loving the Warriors and hating the Rockets, its clear the media isn't concerned with actually earning things.
