2pm at Reliant Stadium....on FSN tv

Rice is coming off a victory over the Big XII's Kansas, and pushing A&M around for over 500 yards of offense at Kyle Field.

The Coogs have played a couple cupcakes with Southern and Temple.

I'll take the Owls in this one. I don't see the Coogs stopping the Rice ground attack with ROSS THE HOSS.

Should be a reasonably good game. I like the Coogs by 7.

looks like the line opened at -4 Coogs, but then went down to -3 Coogs. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a pickem by kickoff

So you're saying Kansas is a good team simply because they're in the B12?

Kansas would finish at the bottom of the Southland.

Rice should win this one easily. UH is hot garbage. Rice is legit this year, should make the Liberty Bowl.

ehh, our offense looked kind of wack against Kansas; defense is solid though. I'm expecting a Rice win, but I don't think it'll be easy at all.

As a UH fan, I have no idea what to expect. I know this, OKorn is going to be an exceptional QB, but I don't know if it all happens this season. Rice will be his first start. Rice ran all over the Aggie defense, but I am still not sure what that means. A wild guess is that it will be close.

A&m had most their defensive starters missing but nevertheless, it was very very impressive.

I remember last year.. UH won and they sucked more than rice last year. So I expect UH To win again as they got better.

    lol at "hot garbage"

UH is going to win. Lets see if Rice has anyone who can stop Deontay Greenberry and Markeith Ambles who should make his debut this week.

It's implied. He says UH played cupcakes but tries to boost Kansas' image by reminding us that they're a Big 12 team; nevermind that they've been at the bottom of that conference forever...

I haven't seen anything official, but judging from the last game I sure hope so. Pretty sure Piland's benching had nothing to do with an injury.

Thou shalt poo-poo on thine Rice Owls. Education tis sub par and facilities inferior, wot-wot. Academics for imbeciles and sports programs less interesting than European women's arm wrestling. All 26 students in their graduating class will be processing my order at Whataburger at 2am when I make a drunk order then proceed to their parent's house where they still live to bang their mom. etc... and so forth. Hopefully that overpriced engineering degree results in a good strawberry milkshake.
